Avant opens new branch in Santa Catarina

Avant has just opened its branch in the State of Santa Catarina, in the city of Itajaí.

The new branch extends Avant’s operation even further, adding to the existing Distribution Centers in the states of São Paulo, Paraná and Bahia.

During this implementation stage, the company will carry out logistics operations with a warehouse in Joinville (picture), which will bill and ship all products to the Southern part of Brazil.

Fluorescent Lights Line Launched

Avant increases production in Brazil with the launch of its Fluorescent Lamps Line. The equipment has been manufactured at the Bahia unit since September, and was intended to be easily installed by consumers, has an innovative design and high level of luminous efficacy.

The lamps are available in two versions. One version uses two 20W or 40W tubular fluorescent lamps (included with the product). The 20W model has a luminous emittance of 40 lux, weighs 1.4 kilo and measures 7.7x83.7x16.1 cm. The 40W model has a luminous emittance of 80 lux, weighs 2.7 kilos and measures 7.7x1.45x16.1 cm.

The other version was developed for the use of two 9 to 25W compact fluorescent bulbs (not included with the product). The lamp has a luminous emittance of 50 lux, weighs 0.75 kilo and measures 7.7x45x16.1 cm. The two models in the Fluorescent Lamps line use 6,500K white light and are equipped with a high-power multi-voltage electronic ballast (127 or 220V).
